Network Broadcast Support Services for 3 Station Master Control Room

Northwest Broadcasting Inc. in Spokane, Washington contacted HVS-Inc. to request our network broadcast support services for their 3 station master control room. Northwest Broadcasting supported the KAYU station, KFFX station and the KCYU station in Spokane, WA.

The previous system in place was outdated and disorganized. Northwest Broadcasting knew in order to operate at optimal performance levels they needed to completely redesign their master control room and upgrade their broadcasting equipment. When Northwest Broadcasting contacted our network broadcast support division they provided a list of their current systems, as well as explained their goals and objectives for a new broadcast systems design.

Our network broadcast support advisors provided various equipment upgrade options and pricing. Once Northwest Broadcasting decided on the new equipment they wanted, we dispatched our broadcast systems integrator to install the new equipment, as well as restructure the layout and design of the master control room.

Once the master control room redesign and broadcast equipment integration process was complete, we provided the staff with operation training. We also provided them with direct contact information if and when they needed additional broadcast system solutions, including broadcast support services. When training wrapped up, Ron Sweatte, Chief Technology Officer for Northwest Broadcasting, toured the area. He was astounded at the dramatic transformation. He couldn’t believe how much of a difference the system upgrades made and was highly impressed with our broadcast system design and integration work. Sweatte went on to say, “It’s a simple process working with HVS integrating changes and new ideas into the plant.
