EN5990 HD Encoder for MPEG-4 Part 10 (H.264/AVC):
The EN5990 combines the sophisticated MPEG-4 part 10 (H.264/AVC) video compression algorithm with the TANDBERG High Definition Intelligent Compression Engine (HD-IC E). It produces outstanding high definition image quality at lower bit-rates for live TV than ever seen before. Additionally new advanced audio coding options provide equally astounding low bit-rate audio performance. This product is ideally suited for operators wishing to launch new HD services for the following: Satellite DTH, Digital Terrestrial Television, TV over DSL, Cable TV, VOD content authoring

E5780/E5782
High Definition Encoder:
The E5780 is a top performing high definition MPEG-2 encoder providing rapid
on-air capabilities and ease of use features. Offering both standard and high
definition encoding modes, it is ideal for professional ATSC and DVB
Broadcasters. It can encode at multiple profiles in both High Definition (HD)
and Standard Definition (SD) modes. The E5780 offers 4:2:0 encoding while, the top of the range, E5782 can encode both 4:2:0 and 4:2:2 profiles.

E5720 Standard Definition Encoder:
The E5720 is a MPEG-2 encoding solution that is an ideal component
for multi-channel solutions for Broadband, Satellite, Terrestrial
or Distribution applications. The E5720 gives high quality images
at very low bit rates for maximum bandwidth utilization. It achieves
this by a unique combination of pre-processing, encoding techniques
and bandwidth sharing with other encoders when operating in Reflex™
mode. Integrated control of the encoder from the front panel or
external control via Ethernet offers complete flexibility of operation.

TT4030 / TT4130 Streamtracker / TT4005 TS Monitor:
TT4030 and TT4130 Transport Stream Monitors combine advanced error detection and monitoring via a Web interface in a compact 3RU multi-chan nel unit. The TT4005 is an option card providing error detection and monitoring that can be included in a variety of other TANDBERG products.
The need for real-time monitoring and analysis of MPEG networks has dramatically increased along with the increased complexity of these networks. Service providers are highly dependent for their business success on very high system availability. The TT4000 transport stream monitoring family is designed to help achieve this by monitoring the core of the actual transport stream - a step beyond standard box-level monitoring.
The TT4030 and TT4130 support a wide range of interface options making them suitable for use in a range of applications including cable, satellite, digital terrestrial, DSNG, content exchange and distribution.

TANDBERG nCompass Control:
TANDBERG nCompass Control is the complete management system for both small and large SD and HD, MPEG-2, MPEG-4 AVC and Windows Media® 9 Series / SMPTE VC-1 broadcast head-ends for configuration, system monitoring and redundancy. Ideally suited to controlling and monitoring satellite, cable and terrestrial super head-ends, especially where n+m multiplexing is required to save costs. Powerful re-multiplexing capabilities make it perfect for digital turnaround applications. Cost effective device only control is available for the simpler regional head-end.

Reflex™ & Data Relfex™ Statistical Multiplexing:
The TANDBERG Reflex™ Statistical Multiplexing system creates room for up to 30% more channels without increasing bandwidth or sacrificing image quality.

Reflex™ Statistical Multiplexing system can be used in any system with multiple TANDBERG video encoders where the broadcaster wants the most efficient use of available bandwidth. With the addition of TANDBERG bit-rate changers, Reflex™ can be used to re-apply statistical multiplexing to off-air feeds too. Data Reflex™ gives the additional benefit of allowing extra data to be inserted into the transport stream ‘opportunistically’ without loss of video quality.
