When Northwest Broadcasting of Spokane, Washington contacted Heartland Video Systems they knew they needed multiple system upgrades, including transcoding engines. Unsure which broadcasting equipment would best serve their needs they contacted HVS to contract our broadcast support services. We immediately put them in touch with our broadcast systems engineer to discuss their unique requirements. Once all of the requirements were addressed, our broadcast systems engineer headed out to the Northwest Broadcasting facility in Spokane, WA.
After arriving on-site, our broadcast systems engineer immediately got to work integrating the transcoding engines. We set up a highly organized, color-coded system of labeled wires to ensure the highest level of operation ease and logic. Once this broadcast systems integration process was complete, we provided detailed training for the staff. When the staff felt comfortable and confident in the new system’s operation we gave them direct contact information in case they required additional broadcast system support in the future.
Northwest Broadcasting was thrilled with our level of detail, knowledge and efficiency. They couldn’t believe how fast and easy we made upgrades to their system. Northwest Broadcasting continues to use our broadcast support services for system upgrades and innovative new equipment. In fact, the Chief Technology Officer for Northwest Broadcasting stated, “As time has gone on and plant changes are made, it’s a simple process working with HVS in integrating changes and new ideas into the plant with documentation they maintain for our company.”
Heartland Video Systems is proud to provide our high level broadcast support services to facilities nationwide. Whether through product selection, full broadcast system integration or ongoing broadcast support services, we cater to the needs of both small and large facilities.
